Cave Spring Student Ministry is a community of 6th–12th graders who are learning to live out their faith together. We believe students are not just the future of the Church—they are a vital part of it right now. Our mission at Cave Spring is to equip the next generation with a strong Biblical foundation and set them on a life path of daily pursuing Christ.
What Happens at Cave Spring Students
We believe that a strong community of fellow believers is essential to the spirgrowth of a teen. That is why we are passionate about creating an environment for students to gather together, dive into God’s Word, play games, laugh, ask questions, and find community.
Where We Meet
Teens gather in our Youth Room upstairs in the Discipleship Building. We’ve got air hockey, foosball, bumper pool, and plenty of space to chill, laugh, and connect. Worship music fills the room creating a fun, welcoming, and Christ-centered space where students can feel at home.
Meet Our Student Pastor
Hey everyone! I’m Pastor David. I’m thrilled to be serving the students here at Cave Spring Church. With over 15 years of experience working with teens and preteens in various educational settings and youth pastoring, I’m passionate about helping the next generation grow in their faith. My wife Jeannie and I have been married for over 20 years, and we’re proud parents of four amazing kids: Jacob, Joseph, James, and Sofie.
Besides a ministry degree from Southern Seminary, I have degrees in physics and analytics. By day, I work as a contractor in Huntsville. But my true passion is ministry, which is why I’m excited to be serving here at Cave Spring. I’m a bit of a nerd at heart, and I enjoy reading, studying, and tinkering with gadgets. When I get a chance to go outside, I do love a good hike.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve God through Cave Spring Church, and I’m looking forward to getting to know you.
